Primark shopper mortified after sending ‘nudes’ to family while trying on bra

A Primark fan's kind-hearted attempt to help her friend with a choice of barrettes ended in disaster when she accidentally sent a saucy photo to her family.

TikTok user Bethany Margaret and her pal recently visited a Primark store where they decided they liked the look of some barrettes.

But, as she explained in a series of clips, the underwear came in dress sizes which meant her “well endowed” friend wasn’t sure which one would fit her.

Bethany decided to buy a bralette and pant set in “every color” they had and, when she got home, tried them on to let her friend know the sizing.

She gushed to her over WhatsApp about the fit of them, before being asked to send over a picture.

"I go onto WhatsApp,” Bethany recalled. “I go onto the most recent chat. I don't even read it because the most recent chat is always the chat with my friend.

“It's the only chat that's ever active on WhatsApp!”

She then started getting dressed again feeling confident that she’d “done a really good thing”.

But, when a notification came through, the mistake she had made became clear.

Her brother’s name flashed across her screen with the message: “Quick delete that Beth.”

Beth’s heart sank as she opened WhatsApp to discover the photo meant for her friend had actually been dropped into her family’s group chat.

Having quickly deleted the image, she shared screenshots of the awkward conversations that followed, including her trying to pass off the image as being of “a friend”.

As other family members chimed in, she wrote: "I'm gonna die. See you all in hell bye xox."

Thankfully, Beth’s dad was asleep at the time the picture was dropped and so was confused to see all the notifications when he looked on his phone.

And she decided to tell him the story in full, which sparked a comedic response from her sister-in-law.

“At least you had a bra on Beth, live and learn,” she said.

“Always check before sending c*** shots. Made my night as you often do.”

Unsurprisingly, the cringe-inducing story has gone viral on TikTok.

Beth's four videos, which started when she explained how "I accidentally sent nudes in a family group chat", have been seen a collective 1.7 million times.

“At least they were sound about it,” one viewer wrote.

Another commented: “If it makes you feel better, my sister sent all the family’s Christmas pictures on her work group chat and I looked horrific in them.”
