‘Starstruck’ boy gives Princess Charlotte flowers and she refuses to let them go
A bunch of white roses that Princess Charlotte refused to hand to a royal aide at Sandringham yesterday were given to her by an adorable six-year-old boy moments earlier.
James Heather had waited hours outside St Mary Magdalene Church, patiently hoping for the chance to gift them to the young royal.
His mum Nakita said James was "starstruck" by Charlotte.
The Princess joined her parents at the 11am service at St Mary Magdalene Church for the first time yesterday.

After leaving the church, Charlotte chatted to members of the crowd alongside her mum Kate.
The four-year-old was handed various presents by well-wishers – including a handmade Christmas angel.
But James' roses, chosen because they are also his mum's most-loved flower, were clearly a firm favourite.
Revealing Charlotte's reaction to the gift, Nakita, from Norwich, said the moment between the two children was adorable.
She told Mirror Online: "We'd been queuing since about half eight and James was really keen to see Charlotte.

"James managed to get to the front and was just stood there with his flowers.
"He had chosen the flowers himself and picked those because he knows they are my favourite."
"When they left the church, Kate came over and said, 'are these for Charlotte?' and then James said 'yes' and handed them over.
"Charlotte looked really shy and coy, but you could tell she was happy and then she said 'thank you'.
"James was so excited, but I think he was quite starstruck by her."
As Charlotte walked away, she was seen clutching the roses before refusing to hand them to a royal aide who had offered to carry them.
Nakita said: "What made it all even sweeter was I watched her as she walked off and other people were giving her flowers which were handed to her protection officer, but she just wouldn't let go of James.
"She kept them in her hand the whole time."
Nakita said James hasn't stopped telling people about his encounter with a princess.
James said the meeting was "very exiting"
He added: "I was queuing up to see Prince George and Princess Charlotte and then Charlotte come over and i gave her the flowers.
"Kate first said are these for Charlotte and when I said yes, Charlotte said thank you."
