Tell us what you think of Graham Norton’s ‘A Keeper’ and join Mirror Book Club
The latest Mirror Book Club choice was supernatural thriller Someone Like Me by MR Carey, author of The Girl With All The Gifts.
It told the story of meek mother-of-two Liz who discovers a mysterious force within that makes her fight back when she finds herself in difficulty or danger.
So what did Mirror Book Club members think of it?
David Norman enjoyed it. “It’s well written and well paced, it works as a psychological drama, with elements of family drama, and develops into a suspenseful thriller. It’s maybe a bit too long but overall enjoyable.”
Julia Peck Boydon was less enthusiastic. “Not sure if I liked it. All a bit far-fetched to me, sorry!”
But Debbie Carole said: “I really enjoyed it and felt invested in the characters. A great insight into how our minds adapt when they need to and the power of good versus evil.”
