What is Dave Coulier's Net Worth?
Dave Coulier’s career had a resurgence when he appeared on Fuller House, the Netflix reboot of the beloved sitcom Full House. The new show has aired for five seasons and reunited nostalgic fans with their favorite characters, including Coulier’s portrayal of Joey Gladstone.
What has Coulier’s career been like, and what is his net worth? Let’s find out.
Coulier has had a long career in comedy and voice work
While playing Uncle Joey on Full House is without a doubt Coulier’s most famous role, he has had a substantial career in comedy and voice acting. He broke onto the scene with some voice acting parts in animated series like Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo in the early 1980s. He would go on to have a recurring role in Nickelodeon’s 1984 series Out of Control, a sketch comedy where Coulier portrayed a news program coordinator who couldn’t keep his crew out of hilarious antics.
It wasn’t until 1987’s premier of Full House that he got his big break. He successfully portrayed Joey Gladstone – the best friend of Danny Tanner (Bob Saget’s character) who moves in to help Danny raise his three children after his wife dies – until the show went off the air in 1995. In the meantime, Coulier’s fame continued to grow, and he did ongoing voice work in major animated series. These included voicing Dr. Peter Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters and Animal in Muppet Babies.
His post-‘Full House’ career lacked steam
While he continued to do some successful voice work, the late 1990s and early 2000s represented a struggling time for Coulier’s acting career. He would pick up small roles in animated series but did not often appear on screen himself. When he did, the roles were not critically acclaimed.
He had some more success in his stand-up comedy. He is well-known for his comedic impressions, which have been a major part of his act over the years.
His love life also received some attention
During his rise to fame, Coulier was briefly married to model and actress Jayne Modean from 1990 to 1992. The pair have a son named Luc. He also got some (perhaps unwanted) attention when his former girlfriend Alanis Morissette revealed that some of the angriest and most angsty songs on her acclaimed album Jagged Little Pill were actually about Coulier. Fans were a bit disturbed to learn that Morissette had dated Coulier when she was only 18 . . . and the television star was 33.
In 2014, Coulier married his current wife, Melissa Bring.
Coulier’s current net worth pales in comparison to his ‘Full House’ counterparts

Even with the revival of Fuller House, Coulier continues to have a relatively modest net worth for a celebrity. He is currently estimated to be worth approximately $5 million.
By comparison, his Full House counterpart Uncle Jesse (played by John Stamos) has a net worth of $20 million. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who played Michelle on the show, are worth a staggering $400 million together. Perhaps the resurfacing of Coulier’s television appearances through Fuller House will bring him a new selection of acting roles in the future, but the only current ongoing project he has listed is his voice work for the show Robot Chicken.
In the meantime, The Detroit News reported that Coulier and his wife were building a house off of Lake St. Clair in Michigan. He also sold his 4,100-square-foot home in Encino for $1.9 million. It could be that the comedian is ready to settle into a quiet and calm retirement as he literally moves away from his Hollywood life.
