The dreaded second lockdown is coming this week for England, with slightly less draconian rules than the spring lockdown. The measures will come into effect at midnight on Thursday, November 5.
It follows a considerable rise in cases across the country that current restrictions have failed to stem.
It is expected the lockdown will end on December 2.
As a result, many parts of the hospitality sector is being forced to close to punters in line with new guidance.
Non-essential businesses are also being asked to close, as well as gyms and other recreational facilities.
However, restaurants, cafes, and pubs are allowed to remain open for takeaway only – meaning you can grab a coffee or a meal and go on your way.
Many deliveries take place via big apps like Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat – so you will need to check if your choice of takeaway has delivery options.
The new rules apply to England only – Scotland and Wales have separate coronavirus restrictions in place.
Essential services, like supermarkets, car garages and pharmacies will be allowed to stay open throughout the lockdown.

Costa Coffee will remain open for the second lockdown in England.
A Costa Coffee spokesperson said: “From Thursday (November 5), Costa Coffee stores in England will remain open for takeaway, delivery and collect services.
“Our drive-thru lanes will also remain open, however, in line with government requirements, all eat-in seating will be closed.”
Pret-a-Manger is expected to stay open throughout the second lockdown for delivery and takeaway only but has not yet confirmed its plans.
Express.co.uk has contacted Pret for comment and will update this page once a response is received.
The chain usually operates deliveries through Just Eat.
Customers can also order in advance via click and collect through the Pret website or app.
The popular coffee chain is pressing ahead with its famous Christmas menu as well, according to its website.
Starbucks has made changes to how many of its stores function for the second lockdown but it is thought that many of them will stay open for business.
Starbucks is available via Uber Eats, and you can order ahead and pick up in-store via the Starbucks app.
Express.co.uk has contacted Starbucks UK for clarification.
