Woman in stitches as eye tattoos on knees end up nothing like she expected

We don’t always get what we ask for in life – and that was perhaps the case for one woman who was left laughing at the sight of her new tattoos last weekend.

Jordan was hoping to get a pair of eyes tattooed to her knees – but the work couldn't be any cornea after she claimed the pupils ended up wonky and as different sizes.

She still saw the funny side and "loves" the tatts regardless – and she said the eye-popping work was “hilarious” and there was “no harm done”.

But Jordan, from Norfolk, was so bemused that she posted snaps of her new ink to the 240,000 members in Facebook group 'That’s It, I’m inkshaming. (Actually Bad Tattoos)'.

Willing to make a spectacle out of herself, she wrote: “Self shame Sunday right?

“I got these bad boys done YESTERDAY.

“The last picture is what I asked for them to be similar to.

“I think they are hilarious and love them so no harm done, let me know what you think.

“It’s the fact that they are looking in different directions and the pupils are different sizes for me.”

The example Jordan was inspired by shows a dainty pupil design delicately inked on the back of an ankle.

But her eye-catching tatts ended up being much larger – although it isn't clear what size Jordan asked for.

Her popular post unsurprisingly received hundreds of replies.

One commenter wrote: “It’s like they follow you around the room.”

Another quipped: “So were you trying to be the bald guy from Mamma Mia or is that just an unfortunate coincidence?”

A third joked: “I looked in her eyes, well one eye as her knee went hurtling towards my face and that's how I got the broken nose, officer.”

And a fourth commented: “Okay I need to know if you wanted them that big and if they charged you for a large tattoo being done instead of the tiny ones in the reference because that would be tragedy on top of the nightmare.”

Meanwhile, commenter said: “I wouldn't have had them so big , it's not far off the design though, I'm quite chilled too and would laugh about them wouldn't bother me either.”

And another added: "I'm glad you're laughing, I'd have a panic attack and throw up at the shop if I asked for the reference photo and got THAT."
