BGT star Kevin Sutcliffe sheds 10st and goes from panto Dame to Prince Charming

A BGT star who was so tubby he didn’t need a fat suit to play a pantomime Dame has shed 10st.

And now Kieran Sutcliffe is taking on the role of Prince Charming.

The 32-year-old ballooned to 25st after reaching the semi-finals of the ITV talent show in 2014.

He would binge on fast food and guzzle pints of lager at the pub after rehearsals.

The slimmed-down singer, from Shepshed, Leics, said: “I was billed as the big man with the big voice.

“I played up to it, cracking jokes about being big. People laugh thinking you’re all right with it, but inside I was dying.”

Kieran spent £10,000 on gastric sleeve surgery. He will star in Cinderella in Brackley, Northants, and Banbury, Bucks, next month.
