Friday Night Dinner star Harry Landis has died at the age of 90, his agent Sharry Clark Artists has confirmed.
The beloved actor and director – who is most recently known for his incredible portrayal of Mr. Morris in the hilarious Channel 4 sitcom, passed away on Monday (September 12).
Taking to his official Facebook account, they informed his loyal legion of fans about his recent passing with a short statement.
It read: "Sad news. Our lovely client Harry Landis has passed to spirit.
"Harry had an amazing career and gained a new following in later life as Mr. Morris in Friday Night Dinner. It was a privilege to have worked with him as a client.
"Harry, you will be sadly missed. RIP," they concluded.
The actor left viewers in stitches with his final onscreen role as the hilariously grumpy Mr. Morris on Friday Night Dinner.
His character was often seen shirtless as Grandma's new boyfriend in the first series of the loveable Channel 4 show.
But this wasn't his first bout of TV stardom, as the TV star boasted a long and successful career on the silver screen.
Fans will remember his role in A Hill in Koreas as a conscript as well as some brief appearances in EastEnders as Felix Kawalski for more than two years.
He also featured in a slew of films through the years including Bitter Victory, Edge of Sanity, Ranson, The Informers, Private Potter, Dunkirk and Operation Bullshine.
