Gene Simmons’ Minor Medical Procedure Puts KISS’ Utah Concert on Delay

Along with an apology for the gig postponement, the rock band frontman assures fans that there is nothing serious with him, and thanks them for their good wishes.

AceShowbizKISS have postponed their Saturday night, September 14, concert in Salt Lake City, Utah, so bassist Gene Simmons can undergo a minor medical procedure.

The rocker took to Twitter on Friday to assure fans he was OK, but needed to be elsewhere and couldn’t perform at the weekend show.

“Apologies to the fans in Salt Lake City,” he wrote. “We will come back and do the show at a later date”.

“The truth is, I have to fly to LA to do a medical procedure. Nothing serious. But it must be taken care of now. Thank you for your good wishes. All is well”.

Gene Simmons apologizes to fans for delayed tour.

Earlier this month, the band postponed upcoming shows in Oakland and Los Angeles due to “unforeseen scheduling issues”.

Both the California concerts have now been scheduled for March, 2020.

The group’s “End of the Road” farewell tour began in January.
