Halloween is the ultimate night for fancy dress but for some famous faces a scary disguise doesn't quite cut it.
Stars take their costumes to the next level by imitating fellow celebrity's for the spooky holiday.
Parties are back on the cards for 2021 after the Covid pandemic stopping many last year and celebs are ready to bring out more over the top costume inspo.
The wait is on for October 31 to see what A-listers are wearing this year, but first lets take a look back at the top Halloween costume ensembles of celebs dressed as other celebrities from Kylie Jenner to Adele.
Harry Styles as Elton John
Harry dressed up as the legendary singer Elton John in 2018.
Harry wore Elton's iconic sparkle-cover Dodgers uniform, which he wore for performances at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles in 1975.
Harry got the look spot on with a crystal-covered baseball cap and sleeves which he wore to the Casamigo's 2018 Halloween party in Beverly Hills, California.
To finish the look, the singer wore a pair of oversized embellished Gucci sunglasses.
Kourtney and Kim Kardashian as Madonna and Michael Jackson
The Kardashian sisters dressed as the once queen of pop Madonna and the king Michael Jackson in 2017.
Channelling looks from the 1991 Academy Awards, Kourtney really did look like MJ with curled hair, black gloves and a white blazer.
She finished the look with black leather trousers and dancing shoes.
Kim wowed in a silvery beaded dress with white fur wrapped over her.
Kim nailed the Madonna costume finishing the look with a blonde wig, glittery necklace, bright red lipstick and one white glove.
Kim shared videos of herself and sister Kourtney all glammed up dancing and voguing to MJ and Madonna songs.
Adele as Dolly Parton
Sporting a salmon pink ruffled suit and a huge blonde wig Adele looked like the spitting image of Dolly Parton.
In 2018, Adele shared an Instagram post showing off her iconic look, holding a guitar with long pink nails to match her suit and a pair of pink shoes.
The Hello singer finished the look with a full face of glam in tribute to the country music icon.
She said: “The effortless queen of song, Dolly Parton! We love you!
"We wish we could possess an ounce of your ability. You were the hero of our night! A hero of my life. I’ll always love you x.”
Dolly responded to Adele's amazing costume and loving message.
She said: "And I will always love you!"
Chrissy Teigen & John Legend as Queen Elizabeth II & Prince Philip
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen had the ultimate couples costume in 2018 and bought out all of the stops making them Hollywood Halloween royalty.
Chrissy wore a costume royal blue coat dress and a matching floral-adorned hat with a curly grey wig underneath as she dressed up as Her Majesty the Queen.
The couple had killer hair and make-up for this year's look.
John looked dashing in his Duke of Edinburgh uniform showcasing multiple medals and a floppy grey wig.
Legend said in one Instagram story clip: “Hello, Happy Halloween to our loyal subjects.”
Kendall Jenner as Pamela Anderson
Last year in 2020, Kendall Jenner opted to channel blonde bombshell, Pamela Anderson, in 1996 as she starred in cult-classic action film Barb Wire.
The model wore a raunchy leather corset and fishnet tights with a blonde wig to celebrate Halloween and her birthday.
She finished the look with black gloves and leather over the knee boots.
The social media image she shared with fans features her holding an iconic "vote" flag while on the back of a motorbike.
She penned: “'Don’t call me babe' Happy Halloween! GO VOTE!!!"
Margot Robbie as Ginger Spice
Margot Robbie channelled her inner Brit as she became Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell last year.
The Australian actress pulled off the iconic look wearing a Union Jack minidress which was made up of sequins.

Rita Ora was super bold in 2018 dressing up as felling music artist Post Malone.
Rita nailed the fake face tattoos, the gold teeth grill and facial hair sporting a very realistic moustache and beard making her unrecognisable.
The singer attended the KISS Haunted House Party at Wembley dress as Post.

Kylie Jenner as Christina Aguilera
Major Throwback to 2016 when Kylie Jenner revealed her Christina Aguilera Halloween costume.
The reality star looked identical to X-tina's music video with black extensions in her blonde hair and the same piercings.
Kylie wore black and red leather trousers and a red striped triangle bralette.
She wore her make up dark and as well as sharing snaps, she documented the iconic look on Instagram with videos of her dancing to Christina's song.
At the time, the video after just three weeks became the most-watched Instagram video ever.
She penned to the post asking: "Can I be XTINA forever," followed by two crying emojis.
