James Corden has quiet dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
James Corden has revealed that he went for dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – but refused to go into any sort of detail.
The Gavin and Stacey star's kids have also hung out with Harry and Meghan's children.
That is a pretty impressive playdate, to say the least – as he explained how the two families have bonded.
The British star, 43, has lived in Los Angeles since taking on the hit talk show in 2015.
This is how he has become linked to many famous faces and built a rather elite circle of big-name pals.
James brought Prince Harry on his show in February 2021 and the pair have grown a bond so close that their children even hang out together.
James told The Sun how he had visited the couple’s £11million mansion in Los Angeles.
He said: "I have. It was more a sort of play date scenario [with the kids].
"Then we went out for dinner after, it was lovely. Obviously, I’m not telling you any more. Obviously."
James shares three children with his wife Julia – Carey, Max and Charlotte.
Whereas, Harry and Meghan, share a son Archie and a daughter Lilibet.
James also revealed that he is a "huge fan" of both Harry and Meghan and said how his experience with the royal couple has been "nothing but positive".
He also bigged up Harry for being a "devoted and loving husband and father".
The presenter also vowed to support him and Meghan and described their departure from the royal family as "bravery".
In other royal news, Prince William's and Kate's daughter Charlotte views Harry as one of “her role models”, a source told Us magazine.
They continued: “She adores [Queen Elizabeth II] and her grandpa [Prince] Charles dotes on her in a big way. They’re very proud of the person she’s developing into, just as they are with George and Louis.”
Charlotte will likely see her beloved uncle next month as Harry and Meghan have confirmed that they will be returning to the UK with their children for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
A spokesperson for the couple said: "Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children."
