Jennifer Aniston in another Friends reunion as she snubs Critic’s Choice Awards

Jennifer Aniston decided dinner with her Friends former co-stars Courtney Cox and Lisa Kudrow is higher up on her priority list than the Critic's Choice Awards.

Fan's of the 90s sitcom went wild and could barely contain their excitement as yet another Friends gathering ignited rumours of a long awaited show return.

Instead of going to The Critics Choice Awards, Jen delighted Friends fans on Instagram as she shared two adorable snaps on her official page.

She can be seen getting cosy with her former girl gang members on the show, better known to fans as Phoebe and Monica.

The post sparked quite a lot of attention and racked up over 6 million likes in just a few hours.

Feeling nostalgic the Marley and Me actress captioned: "Hi from the girls across the hall."

One person gushed: "I could easily freak out right now."

Another simply remarked: "Reunion??"

Jennifer Aniston seems to have ignored the swanky red carpet event to hang out with her pals.

The 50-year-old wasn't in the running for a nomination at The Critics Choice Awards, although her The Morning Show co-star Billy Crudup did bring it home, nabbing the award for best supporting actor for his role as Cory Ellison.

Excitement roared at the awards as Quentin Tarantino's One Upon A Time received the award for best picture, with also Brad Pitt winning best supporting actor for his stuntman role in the film.

With the Oscar's only a month away the latest awards only set the bar for what is to come.
