Kate Price devastated after missing Nikki Grahame voice message before her death

Katie Price took to her Instagram page on Saturday to share her devastation after missing a final voice message from Nikki Grahame.

It was announced by Big Brother star Nikki's rep on Saturday that she had died on Friday at the age of 38 following her anorexia battle.

Sharing a picture of Nikki, Katie penned: "I’m just so shocked and so gutted to hear this news and really upset set to hear her voice message I never saw and just opened.

"Nikki you were fabulous and made me laugh so much RIP beautiful."

Nikki Grahame's former boyfriend Pete Bennett, who she found love with in the Big Brother house, also paid an emotional tribute to the star following her heartbreaking death.

Big Brother 2006 winner Pete struggled to fight back tears as he paid tribute to his former girlfriend in a tearjerking Instagram video on Saturday evening.

The 39 year old said: "I thought to myself yeah we could save her, but we couldn't. But it's okay she's in a good place and she's not suffering anymore."

Pete recently visited Nikki and shared a touching final photo of them both sharing a hug.

Addressing the devastating news of Nikki's death after her anorexia battle, Pete said: "'I just want to say thank you for all your love and support since the fundraiser came out. I think that was amazing, we got loads of money.

"The amount of love and support we got was overwhelming and heartwarming."

Pete then became incredibly choked up as he added: "So I'd just like to raise a f*****g glass, or bottle of wine more like, for Nikki Grahame.

"All the love from us at Big Brother 7, we really love you Nikki and you were a true winner man, you were really great, you f*****g rocked it babes. Just want to say we'll miss you babe. See you later Nikki."

The reality-star-turned-musician wrote in an accompanying caption: "R.I.P Nikki. Thank you for Carly Cunningham and Leon for starting the Amazing Nikki fundraiser, sadly earlier today I found out she just passed away from anorexia.

"Im gutted, we have lost a true character, my bb7 posse feel like we've lost a family member, our series just wouldn't of been the same without her!

"'Even through our ups and downs we have still remained close through the years, and it was so nice to visit again recently with my girlfriend, sing Kate bush songs and have fun like the good old days!
