Kylie Jenner to Give Ariana Grande Permission to Sample Viral ‘Rise and Shine’ Under One Condition

The Nickelodeon alum has apparently gotten so hooked to the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s viral tune that she decides to treat her Instagram followers to a cover of it.

AceShowbizKylie Jenner has once again become a hot topic among social media users. This time, it’s due to a clip of her singing good morning to her seemingly already-awake daughter Stormi Wesbter. The video soon became viral and prompted people to create new memes and remix the tunes. Ariana Grande was among the people.

The Nickelodeon alum had apparently gotten so hooked to Kylie’s singing that she decided to post on Instagram Stories on Wednesday, October 16 a video of her covering the song. “Rise and shine,” she sang the lyrics effortlessly in the clip, before asking Kylie whether she could use it as a sample of her upcoming song.

Kylie was quick to respond to Ari’s request. While she was willing to give the “Best Mistake” singer permission to sample the viral lyrics, she had one condition to her. “Yes, yes you can,” so the reality TV star and makeup mogul wrote. “As long as I’m in music video..”

Kylie Jenner responded to Ariana Grande’s request.

The clip was taken from Kylie’s latest YouTube video, in which she was offering a look inside her lavish Kylie Cosmetics headquarters and private office to her subscribers. Towards the end of the video, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star brought the camera to take a peek inside Stormi’s personal playroom. “Rise and shine,” she sang to the baby who wore a pink polka dot outfit before picking her up.

The moment garnered hilarious reaction from social media users. “Kylie Jenner’s rendition of ‘Rise and Shine’ dethrones ‘Senorita’ by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes on the fictional Worldwide iTunes chart. Kylie becomes the first non-musician to achieve this feat,” someone joked, while another quipped, “Can’t believe ‘Rise and Shine’ by Kylie Jenner is up for a Grammy! She deserves this.”

There were also a lot of people who set up the tune as their alarm ringtones, with one person admitting that s/he couldn’t get “that ‘rise and shine’ kylie jenner video out of my head.”
