Lily Allen quits Twitter after Piers Morgan tells her to ‘f*** off’

Lily Allen's verified Twitter account has seemingly vanished, just hours after Piers Morgan told her to "f*** off" if she didn't like it here, following the Conservative Party's win in the General Election.

After Lily went on a tirade against British voters, Good Morning Britain presenter Piers tweeted: "I think I speak for Britain when I say if Lily doesn't like it here, why doesn't she f*** off?"

The Smile singer previously took to Instagram with a frowning emoji, alongside the caption: "Some say it was Brexit, some say it was Jeremy [Corbyn].

"Personally, and I know no one wants to hear it, I think that racism and misogyny runs so so deep in this country and that Boris [Johnson] won because of his attitude towards those things and not in spite of them."

Her Instagram, with its 1.2million followers, is still online and the post has garnered more than 52,000 likes so far.

However someone on Twitter discovered Lily had abandoned the social media platform, sending a screenshot of her missing account to Piers.

Alongside a screenshot of a blank account, the Twitter user said: "Looks like Lily Allen ran away from Twitter. Couldn't handle the criticism. Her page doesn't exist."

One of her now-deleted tweets read: "Still holding out for a Labour majority."

Another said: "Please please vote Labour today, things won't get better under Tory rule."

She had also retweeted a tweet which read: "Vote for your kids to die with no healthcare and less brown people but the joke is capitalism needs cheap foreign workers to exploit so will never reduce immigration so joke's on you."
