Little Mix cancel Australia and New Zealand tour dates to ‘focus on recording’

X Factor winners, Little Mix announced that they were cancelling their upcoming Australia and New Zealand tour dates so they could "focus on recording new music".

The four-piece tweeted: "We are really sad to announce that we have to cancel our upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour dates.

"We are so sorry for disappointing our fans who were coming to the shows.

"This is not a decision we've taken lightly but we have to use this time to focus on recording new music."

They went on to add: "Please contact your point of purchase for a full refund on tickets."

Fans took to Twitter to share their heartbreak after the group had previously rescheduled the tour dates.

One devoted fan said: "I love you girls but honestly this is f***ing disappointing. Delayed for 5 months and then cancelled."

A second added: "I love you girls, but this is really unfair for the Australian and New Zealand fans… Especially since their original dates were postponed bc of promo."

The announcement hit home for one fan who replied: "Remember when y'all cancelled a whole US tour for the same reason 5 years ago."

Recently, Little Mix had to cancel a show after a truck carrying part of their set crashed, destroying the set.
