Blake Lively is sponsoring her husband Ryan Reynolds' football team.

The 34-year-old founded Betty Buzz in 2021 to produce a line of sparkling non-alcoholic drink mixers so she could celebrate the "unsung heroes of the drink world" and is now officially investing in her husband's team.

Her inspiration for her new venture came from the fact she found it odd that she didn't drink, even though she was the "wife of an infamous gin slinger".

But now she's taking her business to the next level as it's been announced Betty Buzz will be the sleeve sponsor of the women’s first team of her husband's club, Wrexham AFC.

Blake married the Free Guy actor in 2012 and now, her company Betty Buzz' logo will feature on the left sleeve of the match shirts in an agreement which will last for an initial period of two seasons.

The club says the collaboration represents the first partnership solely for the Wrexham AFC Women’s first team which is "central to the club’s ambitious plans for growth".

At the announcement of the news Blake said she is delighted to now be an official contributor to the success of her husband's club.

The A Simple Favour actress admitted: “I’m honoured to have the Wrexham AFC Women’s team represent Betty Buzz."

Blake added: “They stand for all that we aspire to; strength, joy, fortitude, grace and bringing people together in celebration.”

In November of 2020 it was confirmed that Ryan and fellow actor Rob McElhenney had purchased and they subsequently took over the football club with a goal to grow the team and return it to the English Football League in front of increased attendances, and in an improved stadium.

Ryan has also taken a keen interest in Welsh language and culture as they first advertised the takeover of the club with a Welsh translator whilst the actor also insisted Welsh subtitles be included with his Netflix movie Red Notice.
