Strictly final faces utter chaos as backstage feuds threaten reunion dance

Strictly Come Dancing final has been thrown into chaos as "backstage feuds threaten reunion dance."

The BBC show will come to an end this weekend with one celebrity face lifting the Glitterball trophy.

The final episode of the series usually sees the stars who have been voted out of the show all come back together with their professional dance partners to perform in a special routine.

However, reports claim that two celebs have caused chaos backstage by dropping out and another has irritated the cast and crew leaving bosses in a tricky position trying to organise rehearsals.

An insider revealed that the BBC bosses are going to go ahead with the routine "one way or another."

A source told The Sun: "There’s nothing to suggest the dance won’t happen but it’s going to be a difficult one to arrange.

“Not only do they have so many more people to organise so they’re as Covid-safe as possible, they have two dropouts and one celebrity who’s not exactly flavour of the month with the cast and crew.

“But given the past four months, the producers will find a way to make it happen, one way or another.”

It has also been revealed that Robert Webb will not be taking part in the group number due to his health worries.

The Strictly final will see EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Elis, TV presenter AJ Odudu and chef and former The Great British Bake Off winner John Whaite battle it out to win the 2021 series.

After the final dances are performed, the public will decide who this year Strictly winner will be.

Rhys Stephenson missed out on a place in the final last weekend after losing the dance-off against John.

Discussing his semi-finals exit with host Tess Daly, Rhys said: "I might not have gotten to the final but I learnt so much from just being on this show, from everyone here who’s just supported us in this new family.

"To have the time to spend with this champion of a dancer [Nancy] who’s put so much into me. Thank you for just letting my energy shine. Thank you for being that partner.

"I should use your actual name which is Xu YouJie. Thank you so much Nancy Xu YouJie, for just being there, being my rock and everything I needed to get through this. Thank you."
