Travis Scotts Fans Fume After His Rolling Loud California Performance Was Cut Short

The ‘SICKO MODE’ rapper’s performance was reportedly cut short due to curfew as his set at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood allegedly started at least 30 minutes late.

AceShowbizTravis Scott (II) has found support in his fans. The “Astroworld” rapper’s fans have taken to social media to voice their dissatisfaction after the rapper’s headlining set at Rolling Loud California was cut short.

Footage captured by fans showed LaFlare on stage performing “SICKO MODE” on Saturday night, March 4, when the sound stopped abruptly during the chorus of the song’s second movement. Moments later, the headliner’s supporting on-screen graphics were replaced by a message from Rolling Loud urging fans to get home safely.

However, Travis could still be seen on stage trying to perform, while his fire-heavy production was still live. In an official livestream, the 31-year-old emcee could be heard saying, “Thank you very much, I love y’all. I wish I could do more but they’re making me go,” while members of the crowd boo.

Several fans responded to posts about Travis’ performance on both Rolling Loud’s official Twitter and Instagram accounts with complaints about the way it ended. “they cut travis scott set && he tried to finish his set with no audio. this was a total disaster ‼️ @RollingLoud,” one person tweeted, with another adding, “They cut Travis Scott’s mic off and he’s still performing [crying emojis].”

“Travis Scott got f**king cut mid song on the last track of his set… Rolling L oud #travisscott,” someone else posted. A different person blasted the festival, “F**k rolling loud for putting both [Lil Wayne] & Travis Scott at the same time & then cutting Travis Scott early.”

A separate fan weighed in, “@RollingLoud f**k you guys you did travis scott dirty.” Meanwhile, another pointed out, “f**k rolling loud i feel bad that people paid 500+ to see Travis Scott get cut off bruhhhh.”

However, a few noted that Travis’ performance started at least 30 minutes late, which would mean that allowing him to complete his full end-of-the-night set would have pushed the festival past its curfew.

This year’s Rolling Loud California, which kicked off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Friday, marks the global music festival’s first time back to the Los Angeles area since 2019. Day 1 of the multi-stage event featured performances by Playboi Carti, DaBaby, Kodak Black, Rich The Kid, Saweetie, Ski Mask the Slump God, Chief Keef and Soulja Boy.

The 3-day event closes out on Sunday, March 5, with scheduled performances by Ice Spice, Moneybagg Yo, Trippie Redd and Lil Uzi Vert and headliner Future on the same Levi’s Stage which Playboi and Travis played.
