V Apologized to ARMYs and BTS Before Shouting This Curse Word at a Permission To Dance on Stage Concert

Sometimes V is a good boy, other times, this BTS vocalist is an unapologetic bad boy. One of those “bad boy” moments was during the boy band’s residency in Los Angeles when he cursed in front of a stadium full of ARMYs.

Here’s what we know about the “Inner Child” singer and his memorable moment from BTS’ Permission to Dance on Stage concert.

BTS hosted Permission to Dance on Stage concerts in Los Angeles

Although ARMYs were physically distanced from this K-pop group for most of 2020, the following year was filled with iconic virtual and in-person performances. BTS performed “My Universe” alongside Coldplay during the American Music Awards.

The boy band also hosted the virtual Festa Muster Sowoozoo Concert, singing songs like J-Hope’s “Chicken Noodle Soup” and Suga’s “Daechwita” (released as Agust D). In November and December 2021, BTS appeared at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, hosting their Permission to Dance on Stage concerts.

“Now we’re charged back up thanks to you guys,” RM said during the concert, with Jungkook adding, “nothing can stop ARMY and BTS.”

BTS members cursed during Permission to Dance on Stage — including the vocalist V

Several noteworthy moments from the Permission to Dance on Stage residency even trended on social media. That includes BTS’ vocalist and dancer V apologizing before cursing in front of ARMYs.

“Sorry ARMY, sorry BTS,” V said, turning to the crowd then turning to the other members. “Holy s***. Damn.”

This wouldn’t be the only time the BTS members cursed during their Los Angeles residency. RM, who is fluent in English, addressed the crowd during one performance, saying, “put your m***** f***ing hands up.”

V also dressed as one of the character from the Netflix original drama series, Squid Game, surprising and delighting ARMYs. This was BTS’ first time performing in a stadium since the start of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The boy band previously canceled their Map of the Soul world tour. Jungkook even shared that he was nervous about returning to the stage again while visiting The Late Late Show with James Corden.

BTS’ Permission to Dance on Stage concerts included cameos from Chris Martin of Coldplay and Megan Thee Stallion

BTS had several surprises for ARMYs throughout their Permission to Dance on Stage performances. For one night, Megan Thee Stallion performed “Butter” alongside Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.

Chris Martin of Coldplay appeared to sing “My Universe” during another night. This concert also ended with a confirmation from the K-pop group that they will return for future performances. That begins with concerts in March 2022 based in Seoul, South Korea.

Until then, these artists are enjoying a period of rest and relaxation, marking the first time they’ll spend the holidays with their families since their debut. Some members also share updates on their individual Instagram accounts.
