BGT viewers convinced contestant stormed off stage as he misses out on ITV final

Britain’s Got Talent viewers are accusing semi-finalist Andrew Blasso of storming off the stage after he got the boot on Tuesday’s live show.

Eagled-eyed fans of the ITV talent show are speculating that the escapologist had a strop when he appeared to walk off the stage prematurely.

After learning he was being sent home, Andrew immediately left the stage despite semi-finalist acts usually waiting until every act has got their results before leaving the stage.

Viewers were quick to point this out on twitter.

One wrote: "Anyone else see Andrew Basso just walk off after not getting through?"

A second added: "Andrew walked off? BRO what is going on??"

"Did anyone else notice the escape artist storm off stage?" asked a third.

A fourth chimed in: "Did the water guy walk off in a strop lmao"

Andrew was the final act of the show and performed a daring water escape.

But Amanda Holden wasn't a fan and accused him of 'deceit' because viewers couldn't see what he was doing when he was inside a box full of water.

And many viewers felt the act tonight was "dragged out" as it took several minutes before he even got into the tank.

"May well be v dangerous but was boring to watch" said one.

"Come on, don't drag it out!" echoed another.

Tonight's semi final saw Ben Nickless win as Flintz and Taylor took the runner-up spot.

The show has been accused of having a lack of diversity as all female performers miss out on place in the final so far.

It has sparked a diversity row, as viewers complain about the potential of an all-male final – despite there being another three semi-finals to go.

One said sarcastically: "Lots of diversity in the final with the total of 0 women #BGT."

Someone else complained: "Not enough racial or gender diversity #bgt."

Opera singer Maxwell won the first night of the semi-finals, after securing the most public votes.

The busker wowed the judges and viewers with his incredible performance which won him a place in the final.

Meanwhile impressionist Ben wowed viewers on the second night of the semi-finals with his hilarious routine.

He was crowned the winner of the night after he secured the most public votes.

Duo Flintz & Taylor were also put through on the second night after they won the judges' vote against rap and piano combo and Amber & The Dancing Collies.

Britain's Got Talent continues tonight on ITV and ITVHub at 8pm
