Britains Got Talent fans slam 2022 series as worst ever with sympathy acts
Britain's Got Talent viewers have branded the current series are the "worst ever" made.
ITV viewers have shared their thoughts on social media about the 2021 series so far as the programme is in its final week.
During Tuesday's show (May 31), one fan took to Twitter and said: "#BritainsGotTalent What the actual fu** is this? This years BGT has to be the worst one ever made…Just a bunch sympathy acts, no talent to be seen #BGT"
A second agreed: "Yep stop watching the show a long time ago .. every one has a sob story it seems"
While a third penned: "Yes very boring this year."
They also shared their opinions on impressionist Ben Nickless' act with many thinking he was the best act of the show.
One fan said: "#BritainsGotTalent Best act of the night Ben Nickless, brilliant comedian impersonator. Hope Ben gets in the final. Happy birthday Ben"
A second added: "This guy deserves everything! You can see he really wants this. He had me crying with laughter"
"Love this guy, old school talent hope he goes all the way…." a third tweeted.
Though a fourth shared: "This impressionist guy is quite good, but I’m not sure that showing an image of who he’s doing above his head is a sign of confidence?"
To which another commented: "At the moment, him along with Flintz & T4ylor look like they’re going to the final. Those two acts have been the best ones tonight, other than that, it’s been a weak show so far. Something just doesn’t feel right…"
Other viewers mentioned how the show has changed since Simon Cowell has bitten his tongue over the years and left his Mr Nasty image behind.
One Twitter user said: "Does anyone else remember the times where Simon Cowell would tell a kid they are shit? Oh how times have changed lol.. #BritainsGotTalent"
To which another replied: "yeah…. Remember that time 2 sisters came on sang a song, and then started punching each other… cause Simon said it was awful… how times have changed."
Another reminisced: "Ah the good old days where people can say what they think."
Britain's Got Talent continues Wednesday on ITV at 8pm
