Call the Midwife star flooded with support after horror leg injury | The Sun

ONE star from Call the Midwife has been flooded with support after a horror leg injury.

Just as filming for series 13 has begun, the actress suffered a nasty injury as she took to social media to give her followers a new update.

In June, the producers revealed the cast have reunited as they prepare to shoot new episodes in a social media post.

But in a new update, the star was seen posing outside of her house as she had her leg tied up in bandages and large plasters, although it's not clear how or what exactly she has injured.

Helen, 39, flashed smile as she had her leg raised on an adjustable cushion whilst she used her steerable knee walker scooter.

The actress donned a tight black dress that was rolled up to her knee, whilst she accessorised the look with a Yves Saint Laurent clutch bag that was hoisted onto her shoulders via a gold chain.
