Coronation Street Christmas spoilers see wedding, proposal and murder twist

Coronation Street is set for explosive scenes this Christmas time as new dramatic spoilers from the festive preview see a potential wedding, a planned romantic proposal and possible murder on the ITV cobbles.

In upcoming scenes this December, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall), Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) and Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) will take centre stage with huge storylines.

While Max Turner (Paddy Bever), Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) and Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) will also be involved in the Weatherfield drama over Christmas time.

Here, OK! takes a look at the explosive festive spoilers set to rock the residents of Weatherfield this Christmas time…

Christmas Day wedding

Tyrone is determined to give Fiz Stape a Christmas to remember and instead of a drawn out engagement, he plans on surprising her with a Christmas Day wedding.

Wanting everything to be perfect, it looks as though he has everything covered from the dress, the venue, the party and even the girls, Hope and Ruby, know about the surprise.

However, it looks as though Tyrone has everything but the bride as Fiz decides Christmas Day is going to be a washout and as he descends the stairs ready to reveal the surprise, Fiz is nowhere to be seen…

Will she be found in time for her own wedding or has Tyrone's romantic dream spectacularly backfired?

Festive proposal

Daniel decides to take his relationship with Daisy Midgeley to the next level as he plans to make an honest woman of her.

Making preparations for a romantic proposal, Daniel gets the okay from Daisy’s stepmother Jenny Connor and the support of his dad Ken Barlow.

However, in true soap style, when a burglary at the Barlows means the ring he intended to use is stolen – will any possible engagement be put on hold?

Murder on the cobbles?

Murderer Stephen, who killed Leo Thompkins earlier this year, plots his next move on the cobbles as he desperately tries to cover his tracks.

However, when his own family start to ask questions, his ex-wife Gabrielle threatens to reveal all and Teddy starts to doubt his son Leo suddenly disappeared… how long before Stephen contemplates killing again? And who is the next victim?

Danger for Max

Max, who has recently been targeted by a gang of extremists in a hard-hitting storyline, continues to clash with David Platt over the festive season.

And when he feels increasingly at odds with his family and left out in the cold, the teenager is drawn into a world of new friendships which leave Max in danger…

New baby drama

Summer, who had agreed to let Esther and Mike Hargrave adopt her baby for money, is set to suffer a devastating miscarriage in upcoming scenes.

And over the festive period, the teenager strikes another deal with the couple after her sad baby loss as she agrees to be their surrogate.

However, the decision soon leaves her fearing for her future as she faces not only her own doubts about the pregnancy and her diabetes but those of her family. Can she turn back the clock?

Blackmail

Things are far from festive for Nick as he faces being blackmailed after accepting money from drug dealer Harvey Gaskell.

Nick thinks Harvey gave the cash because he felt guilty after meeting up with Sam Blakeman as he accidentally killed the latter's mother Natasha.

However, Nick soon realises there are a lot more strings attached, especially with the new arrival of Jacob Hay’s dad Damon… can he keep the truth from Leanne and is he in danger?

Love triangle

The Christmas spoilers have teased whether Sean Tully and Laurence Reeves cement their relationship despite Todd Grimshaw's best efforts to come between them…

Other festive drama

After a disastrous gift last year, which involved a coffin, can George Shuttleworth make it up to Eileen Grimshaw this Christmas?

While over at the Metcalfes, can Sally’s gift to Tim restore peace and harmony?
