Coronation Street fans were mortified when Daisy Midgeley (played by Charlotte Jordan) seduced Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott). The love rat wakes up with no memory of the night he spent with Daisy but that won’t stop the barmaid from exposing the truth to his unsuspecting girlfriend Alya Nazir (Sair Khan). However, once she knows what happened between the pair will she move away from Weatherfield with Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King)?
In upcoming scenes, Ryan begs Daisy to keep their night together secret from Alya.
However, she purposely exposes the love rat while Alya listens on heartbroken.
She tells her boyfriend they’re finished and she wants nothing more to do with him.
But, will she decide to leave Weatherfield for good after realising she can’t face seeing Ryan every day?

Speaking to Express.co.uk and other press, Ryan opened up on why his character was vulnerable to Daisy’s manipulation.
He said: “I think the nature of his life with Alya over the past six months to a year, including, being a support system for Alya, with the Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) and Yasmin storyline.
“I think that he’s just got to a point where he feels a little bit forgotten and with the transitional period that he is finding himself in.
“I think he’s searching for purpose, I think he’s searching for something that matters.”
“Alya runs a business, she has a home, she has family there on the street,” he continued.
“Ryan has a part-time job in a pub, he’s not really getting anywhere with the DJ and has no real friends, close friends anyway.
“He has no family and no real prospects or opportunities so I think that he’s feeling the lack of an even keel within the relationship.”
“He knows he needs Alya more than she needs him,” the Coronation Street star shared.
Revealing how Ryan feels about Daisy telling Alya what happened he said: “He’s furious.

“Inside he’s furious, but he has a relationship with this girl as well, a friendship.
“I think that he’s caught off guard. I don’t think that he expected her to do anything like that.
“And then it’s, all about Alya, a part of himself is so used to wrecking anything he’s had, and making a poor choice in the past, that there’s that kind of element of inevitability to it.”
“He has a tendency to give up, he thinks, ‘Well this is me, this is what I always do, I’ve done it again,” he added.
“I think there’s an element of that, but at the same time he’s just furious that it’s come to that.”

Alya will be heartbroken by Ryan’s actions but she may come to forgive him over time.
However, if he gives up on their relationship and chooses not to fight for her she may decide it’s best to leave Weatherfield.
Although Yasmeen and Alya have Speed Daal, their relationship is much stronger than their love for the family business which they could hire someone else to run.
Yasmeen’s nightmare with Geoff would mean she would always put Alya’s happiness before anything else.
Will she suggest to her granddaughter that they move away from the cobbles for a while?
Coronation Street airs on ITV on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm.
