Corrie's Simon Gregson offers to bury hatchet with Liam Gallagher after feud
Oasis singer Liam Gallagher and Corrie’s Simon Gregson have been Foster-ing some ill-feelings towards each other for years… but now Simon’s hoping to bury the hatchet with a pint.
Despite the ongoing Corona-virus crisis, the Steve McDonald actor has reached out to Liam so they can be Buds, and put to bed their unlikely spat that Doom-Barred any friendship.
Simon felt compelled to reach out after seeing a tweet from Liam Gallagher that read: ‘What you gonna do with the rest of your life.’
In response, he simply replied: ‘Take you for a pint.’
Now it’s up to Liam to Miller his offer over and come up with a response. Reckon he’ll be Stella about it or not?
Sorry, we’ll stop now – but we have to admit we’ve to join this night out!
Simon and Liam’s feud goes back to the 1990s, when the pair ran into each other at the Granada TV studios in Manchester.
Liam revealed that the pair had a run in in the car park, explaining to The Sun: ‘He was coming out of the Granada TV studios where they’d been doing Corrie and we had just been making our TV debut with Take Me and he f**ing flipped me the bird.
‘Can you believe that?’
He later added that he chased Simon down the street as he drove off in his car, with the pair getting angry as they caught up at traffic lights.
Definitely one of the more bizarre feuds Liam has in his list.
Let’s hope after the olive branch they’ll both be able to bury the hatchet.
