Doctor Who series 12 episode 5 spoilers – here's what to expect
DOCTOR Who returns to screens on Sunday night with another gripping episode full of aliens and drama.
The trailer has teased the involvement on the Judoon so we take a look at what else we can expect from the next instalment.
1) Return of the Judoon
Yep – the mercenary galactic police are back and they are terrorising the residents of Gloucester in the upcoming episode.
The rhino-headed police force are causing quite a riot in their mission and, as ever, they are being particularly aggressive in their hunt.
Showrunner Chris Chibnall teased: "No! Sho! Blo! The Judoon are storming back into Doctor Who in full force, and the streets of Gloucester aren’t safe. If anyone has anything to hide, confess now.
"The Judoon are taking no prisoners, and will stop at nothing to fulfil their mission! The whole team on Doctor Who are delighted and scared in equal measure to welcome them back."
2) Finding a fugitive
Know one seems to have any idea – who or what – the Judoon are looking for in present-day Gloucester.
So naturally it is up to The Doctor and her companions Ryan, Yaz and Graham to try and put a stop to it all.
The galactic police force find Lee (Neil Stuke) and Ruth (Jo Martin) the local odd couple, living their a seemingly normal life. Ruth is a bubbly and well-known tour guide, so it seems tense and worried Lee might be the one trying to hid something.
3) A special guest star
Neil Stuke will be starring in the episode as Lee Clayton and the actor is no stranger to viewers.
He's starred in shows such as Doctor Foster, Suspects and Silent Witness.
Showrunner Chris Chibnall gushed: "And we’re over the moon (with Judoon), to be welcoming the wondrous Neil Stuke as guest star.
"We can’t wait to show you what happens when his path crosses with the Thirteenth Doctor."
