Emmerdale fans were left fuming on Tuesday night as the ITV soap's Twitter revealed that Cain Dingle was The Woolpack robber before the scene had aired.
During the dramatic episode, Charity Dingle was left for dead as she disturbed a mysterious figure robbing the premises where they charged at her and she fell to the floor.
Soap watchers were quick to speculate who the mystery person could be but were soon left fuming as the ITV soap's Twitter account accidentally revealed it was Cain before the reveal had aired.
Emmerdale tweeted at 7:31pm, which is when the soap usually ends but Tuesday's episode was an hour long and finished at 8pm. It read: "Cain has left Charity fighting for her life! See how it happened https://northlink.itv.com/WatchEmmerdale #Emmerdale @itv @WeAreSTV @Itvhub."
Viewers were quick to respond to the link as they fumed that they "didn't need to watch" the episode now with others adding: "Little early guys."
One person said: "Completely ruined it….again."
A different viewer put: "Thanks for the heads up don’t need to watch now. Spoiler alert."
Another soap watcher commented: "What! Haven’t seen it yet. Thanks a lot."
A different viewer wrote: "Might want to wait till 8 when the show ends guys #spoiler."
Another fan joked: "Little early guys," while a different person added: "Seriously? It’s still on TV. Doesn’t finish til 8pm."
Earlier on the episode, it showed a mysterious figure deliberately severing with the pub's electricity cable outside, causing a complete power cut.
After realising that the power was gone, Chas Dingle decided to leave the premises as she was again watched leaving by the mysterious person.
Things went from bad to worse when Charity heard a bottle smash and she called the police before entering the premises, where the door had been smashed.

After confronting the robber, who wore a full disguise, they charged at Charity where she fell over and lay lifelessly on the floor ― she was later rushed to hospital with a small bleed on the brain.
At the end of the episode, it was confirmed that Cain was the robber as he admitted he did it so Chas could claim back on insurance after suffering money troubles with the business.
