Emmerdale’s Amy Walsh doesn’t know when she’ll return to soap
Amy Walsh’s character left Emmerdale after she discovered her boyfriend Nate Robinson (played by Jurell Carter) had slept with her sister, Vanessa Woodfield’s (Michelle Hardwick) girlfriend, Fiona Murphy (Yemisi Oyinloye).
Although she was heartbroken at first, the news led her to put herself first as she was offered a job in Nottingham after hosting a seminar at a postnatal depression conference.
However, in real life, the actress left the ITV soap because she and her EastEnders star boyfriend Toby-Alexander were expecting their first child together.
Although, the actress has now teased her return to the Dales in an exciting post on social media.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Amy shared a sweet snap holding her one-year-old daughter, Bonnie’s hand.
In the caption, she told her followers she was heading back to work, it read: “Morning snuggles before mama goes to work this morning.
“For all the parents out there going back to work and leaving their babies…stay strong, we’ve got this.”
The actress later shared a behind-the-scenes photo from on set.
As she posed with her co-star, Roxi Shahidi, who plays Leyla Harding, Amy said: “Throwing down on our lunch break just like the old days was the highlight of my day.”

Tracy made a brief comeback last October when Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter) died of cancer.
The young mum ended up having a one night stand with Nate behind his girlfriend, Naomi’s (Karene Peters) back.
However, Naomi has since gone onto dump Nate, meaning he and Tracy could rekindle their romance.
In recent scenes, Nate confided in Mackenzie Boyd (Lawerence Robb) about how much he has missed out on with child.
His admission after Mack struggled to come to terms with being away from his newborn son Reuben.
Nate encouraged his pal to come clean about his infidelity with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland), and to bond with his son.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
