Emmerdale spoilers: Moira Barton issued menacing threat as Kerry plans to take down Nate?

Emmerdale farmer Moira Barton (played by Natalie J. Robb) has found herself embroiled in a steamy affair with hunky farmhand Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

But in upcoming scenes their secret is set to explode as Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) finds herself involved.

According to official soap spoilers, the beautician is going to stumble upon Moira and Nate passionately kissing and use this to her advantage.

It comes after Kerry’s daughter Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) misunderstands a situation and is left furious.

Seeing Nate talking to Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh), jealousy builds up and Amy flies off the handle, accusing Nate of betraying her trust.

Upset, Kerry comforts Amy insisting she will resolve the situation and heads up to Home Farm to have a word with Nate.

Calling out for him, he is nowhere to be seen so she tries his caravan on the outskirts of the field, but is left shocked when she sees Nate and Moira in a romantic embrace.

Confused as to what is going on, Kerry finds herself conflicted over whether or not she should tell her daughter about her boyfriend’s infidelity with his boss.

Speaking out about the storyline to RTE, actress Laura who plays Kerry discussed the moment she finds Moira and Nate together.

“She never gets to have that conversation [with Nate] because when she gets to the caravan she hears noises and realises that it can’t be Amy because she’s just left Amy.”

Describing the moment as “shocking” Laura says Kerry uses this to her advantage.

“She’s annoyed at him for what he’s done to her daughter but she sees that as an opportunity to blackmail him.”

While there is the possibility of forcing Nate to end his relationship with Amy, Laura says it’s a difficult ask.

“It would solve all her concerns, but at the same time it’s horrible for her as she’s the one indirectly hurting her own daughter,” the actress said.

But Nate shouldn’t be the only one to be worried as Kerry could soon turn her attention to Moira.

Moira’s husband Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is the father of Amy’s child Kyle and in recent weeks there has been some friction between the pair as they try to co-parent.

Ultimately, Cain has more authority and Amy is left to go along with what he says, but now Kerry knows about Moira’s affair, could she use this to threaten Moira and persuade her to allow Amy more time with Kyle?

Alongside this, Kerry and Amy are both living with the guilt over the fire they caused which killed Frank Clayton (Michael Praed).

Laura went on to tell RTE how their actions are “life-changing for both [Kerry and Amy] of them”.

Nevertheless, they cannot hide for long as it seems their actions will eventually catch up with them.

“Inevitably everything [is going to] explode because [it] has to come out somehow,” Laura divulged.

Elsewhere in the village, there is a strong chance Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) is going to make a cutthroat decision which will leave husband Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) devastated.

Emmerdale airs weekday evenings at 7pm on ITV.
