When is Frozen 2 out in cinemas?

Luckily for big Disney fans, there is barely any wait left until the second movie in the Frozen franchise arrives in cinemas.

The film has only recently had its premiere, with some very special fans getting the chance to watch the film in the USA on November 7.

However, for almost every other country across the world, the film will be released over the next two weeks.

Some European countries such as Germany and France will be the first to see the movie, with a release date of November 20.

The UK and the USA will see the film from November 22.

The movie has a classic Friday release day, compared to some other films where the films are released mid-week in an attempt to extend their opening weekend.

However, other countries will still have to wait quite a while to see the movie, with fans in Denmark, Finland and Norway being forced to wait until Christmas Day before Frozen 2 hits screens.

Some fans will even have to wait until 2020 to watch the film, with Frozen 2 coming out in Argentina and Brazil in the New Year.

What is Frozen 2 about?

Disney has given a short synopsis to help fans prepare for the film.

Disney’s synopsis reads: “Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom.

“Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey.”

Trailers have given away some more details, starting with what Elsa and Anna will be forced to deal with as the film unfolds.

In one trailer, a young Anna and Elsa are told about an enchanted forest which has been cursed, and as they grow up the memory of this comes back to them.

Elsa then begins to hear singing from somewhere, and realises that, when the weather changes and makes their home of Arendelle a dangerous place, the singing must be calling her out to somewhere new.

She and Anna, along with Kristoff, Sven and Olaf, must head into the mountains to discover where the voice is coming from, and how they can save Arendelle.

As revealed in the trailer, they find themselves in the forest with the mist parting to help them get through.

But will they be able to finally save Arendelle and work out why Elsa can hear voices calling her?

At least fans do not have a long time to wait to find out the answer.
