Good Morning Britain took a rather bizarre turn during the latest edition of the ITV breakfast show.

Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid were back on our screens on Wednesday (May 4) morning to wake up the nation with the latest news headlines.

They welcomed television stars Dick and Dom into the studio to chat about bringing back Da Bungalow to celebrate their landmark anniversary with a tour.

As the dynamic duo opened up about their latest project, they pointed out that GMB metrologist Laura Tobin attended one of their recent shows.

Dom asked Laura: "Tobin, are you going to come on the show?

Before adding: "She was watching us in Butlin's recently, weren't you?"

As the camera panned over to Laura, she said: "It was amazing" before she started fist pumping and chanting "Dick".

Dick cheekily replied: "Alright Tobin. Bit too early for that."

Dom added: There's no need for that. We're just asking if you're coming to see the show. Is she still working here?"

A giggling Susanna jokingly answered: "Not for long."

Dick and Dom explained that their new tour will include all their favourite messy games including Creamy Muck Muck, where members of the audience get splattered with gunk.

The cheeky duo – Richard McCourt and Dominic Wood – started their Da Bungalow show in August 2002 and can proudly boast to being referred to having "lavatorial" humour in the House of Commons back in 2005.

Earlier in the show, Richard and Susanna crossed over to Lorraine Kelly to find out what's coming up on her self-titled talk show.

As Lorraine finished letting viewers know what they can expect from her programme, Richard asked: "Who are you again?"

A giggling Lorraine knew exactly what Richard was referring to.

The PM appeared on GMB on Tuesday (May 3) for the first time in five years.

He chatted to Susanna in a fiery interview which some viewers branded a "car crash".

After watching Susanna and Boris clash for over 15 minutes, the ITV presenter was forced to end their chat and handover to Lorraine, who hosts ITV's Lorraine after GMB.

However, it appears that Mr Johnson may not know who broadcaster Lorraine is, despite the bubbly Scottish broadcaster being on our screens for over 30 years.

Susanna said: "Lorraine is waiting to take up all the issues you have brought up in this interview.

Mr Johnson asked: "Who's Lorraine?"

A shocked Susanna repeated: "Who's Lorraine? Lorraine is a legend."

As the camera panned over to the ITV studio, Lorraine said: "Wow thank you Susanna. A masterclass in a political interview."
