Gordon Ramsay couldn't stop crying as he enjoyed a proud dad moment watching his 18 year old daughter Tilly Ramsay perform an incredible Charleston on Strictly Come Dancing Saturday night.

The teenager is paired up with brand new professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin on the hugely-popular BBC competition.

While their first week was deemed a success and a brilliant start to the Tik Tok star's journey on the show, all the judges said Tilly had room to improve.

Having learnt an incredibly fast dance in the 1920s-style Charleston, Tilly shocked everyone in the audience when she blew them all away with her pace and difficult moves.

Famously tough TV chef Gordon, 54, was no exception and became overwhelmed with emotion as he watched his daughter perform.

As the camera kept trying to zoom in on the star's face, he turned away and tried to hide his tears.

Tilly and Nikita also received fantastic comments from the judges, with Shirley Ballas in particular noting she was surprised by the contestant's epic skill.

Anton Du Beke also praised the animation in the celebrity's acting during the dance.

"I'd be so proud of my daughter if she was on Strictly – love Gordon having tears #Strictly #tilly #tillyramsay," one fan gushed watching the scenes.

Another viewer was taken aback by Gordon's display of emotion, as they joked: "#Strictly What, Gordon Ramsay crying, getting soft in his old age…"

"Gordon Ramsay crying his little heart out on #Strictly is everything I needed tonight," a third wrote, impressed by the pair's dad and daughter bond.

While a fourth person added: "Gordon Ramsay crying is just the sweetest thing ever #Strictly."

While there wasn't much drama during Saturday night's show, judge Craig Revel Horwood couldn't resist telling off new judge Anton when he "missed" a couple of mistakes in actress Katie McGlynne's dance with her pro partner Gorka Marquez.

"Yes there were a couple of mistakes Anton you need to start paying attention darling," the professional dancer sniped. "Just a little note for Anton there."

Anton was surprised by Craig's comments and the audience gasped, but it was all in jest as later on Anton took his own back.

"Craig's just grumpy," he told the audience with a smirk.
