Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to be "front and centre" of the Platinum Jubilee's second day – a royal reporter told BBC Breakfast.

Naga Munchetty hosted BBC Breakfast live from outside St. Paul's Cathedral in London on Friday (June 2) ahead of the St. Paul's thanksgiving service for the Queen.

The thanksgiving service is the central focus of the second Jubilee day, after the historic Trooping the Colour parade on Thursday saw a stunning flypast from RAF jets.

Naga spoke to the BBC's royal correspondent Daniela Relph about what role Harry and Meghan would have during the thanksgiving service.

Whilst the Sussexes did appear at the Trooping the Colour parade, they were not stood on the balcony with the Queen as they are no longer senior royals.

They were instead placed in a separate building with a "wider royal party" during the parade.

Naga asked Daniela: "We did catch a glimpse of the Sussex's as well, Harry and Meghan."

The royal pundit replied: "They will be here today and we will see them in more of an official capacity with the rest of the royal family arriving.

"They were there yesterday but slightly behind the scenes. Today [Friday] they will be front and centre."

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace confirmed non-working members of the royal family would not be invited to attend the balcony during the parade.

They told Bazaar: "After careful consideration, The Queen has decided this year's traditional Trooping the Colour balcony appearance on Thursday 2nd June will be limited to Her Majesty and those Members of the Royal Family who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of The Queen,"
