Hollyoaks star teases Warren Fox’s big return and reunion with Joel Dexter

Hollyoaks actor Rory Douglas-Speed has teased huge scenes to come on the Channel 4 soap, ahead of Warren Fox's big return.

Jamie Lomas has reprised his role with it reported he will be back during the special spin-off Hollyoaks Later in January.

While his comeback has been confirmed to air in 2020, scenes have already been filmed with Jamie's co-stars Rory and Sienna Blake actress Anna Passey.

It's not yet known what brings him back to the village, previously being on the run for Bart McQueen's murder.

Now, Rory has teased his character Joel Dexter could face drama ahead, as his father Warren returns.

Remaining coy over the details, he promised anything could happen with the soap legend back on screen.

Speaking exclusively to Mirror Online , Rory said of the show spin-off Hollyoaks Later: "I’m not giving anything away but I know it's gonna be brilliant for the show.

"We get to defy the means of compliance, we can swear and all that. They're gonna see a real edge to the characters."

On upcoming scenes with Warren, he added: "To be honest, I’m not sure because anything can fly off the handle with that guy, but I’m so happy he’s back.

"We’ve done a few bits together already and it's like nothing has changed.

"A couple of years have been and gone and it's this fresh air, we’ve got some exciting things coming up."

Hollyoaks recently teased the reunion for Warren and ex Sienna with a backstage photo of him back on set.

Last time Warren was in the village, he kidnapped baby son Sebastian months on from going on the run with his twin sister Sophie.

Viewers will have to tune in to see if the kids return with him, and how their mother Sienna will react.

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6:30pm on Channel 4, with the next episode at 7pm on E4.
