Home and Away Justin star teases tragic Leah split as Susie scam rips them apart
Home and Away couple Justin Morgan (James Stewart) and Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou) are about to hit the rocks after realising they have been scammed out of their money.
Next week, Justin and Leah are thrilled about their futures after handing over $90,000 to estate agent Susie (Bridie Carter).
However, things quickly go wrong when Justin finds out from the agency that the house wasn't sold to them, which Susie quickly explains away.
But it doesn't take long for Susie to get caught out as Irene and Willow do some digging into her background and find out she has a different alias, Imogen, and they realise she is a con artist.
Irene goes to confront Susie and she knocks her using chloroform after a fiery showdown, and quickly flees from Summer Bay, ditching her phone so Justin and Leah can't contact her.
As Justin and Leah realise the sickening truth, they are left heartbroken as they realise not only do they not have their dream home, they have lost of all their savings.
Tensions are set to rise between the pair, but will they be able to make it through the tough time, or will the cracks begin to show?
Speaking about the couple's future, James told Daily Star: "Losing the money makes them look at each other differently.
"I hope they can fix things but it's a long road, and a difficult one."
He also teased that the pair might not be able to work things out in a cryptic clue, hinting that Leah and Justin could be "heading down different paths".
James added: "Two people can be travelling along a lovely road and then suddenly there's a fork, and they suddenly start going down different paths, and it's really hard to get them back together again.
