Yellowstone season four will arrive on The Paramount Network on November 7, with a double-bill extravaganza. The premiere has been a long time coming for viewers, who expected the new season to arrive in the summer. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about how many episodes are in season four and when the finale is expected to air.

How many episodes are in Yellowstone season 4?

Yellowstone season four is expected to answer a lot of questions surrounding who launched the attacks on the Duttons.

The season three finale had fans on the edge of their seats as it saw patriarch John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) fall victim to anonymous assassins.

The fates of the family were left hanging in the balance and the latest season will follow their vengeful journey.

Season four will launch with two episodes airing back to back, which should answer some of the more pressing questions from fans.

As for how many episodes will feature in the new season, it has not been officially confirmed, but it is expected to be 10.

Both seasons two and three were made up of 10 episodes but The Paramount Network is yet to confirm this for season four.

Due to the popularity of the show, it is likely the fourth outing will contain the same number of episodes.

A total of 10 unique titles have been given for the season four episodes and they are as follows:

Episode one – Half the Money

Episode two – Phantom Pain

Episode three – All I See Is You

Episode four- Winning or Learning

Episode five – Under a Blanket of Red

Episode six – I Want to Be Him

Episode seven – Keep the Wolves Close

Episode eight – No Kindness for the Coward

Episode nine – No Such Thing as Fair

Episode 10 – Grass on the Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops

After the double-bill premiere, the episodes will continue to air weekly on Sundays on The Paramount Network.

This means episode three will air on November 14 and it is expected episode four will air on November 21.

At this moment in time, it is too early to say whether the release schedule includes any breaks to make way for special programming.

If the schedule remains weekly, fans can expect the season four finale of Yellowstone to air on January 9, 2022.

Fans of the show’s creator, Taylor Sheridan, will be pleased to hear his spin-off series titled 1883 will launch on December 19.

The Yellowstone prequel will air on Paramount+, so viewers will be able to split their time between the original series and the spin-off.

According to the review website Rotten Tomatoes, the third season of Yellowstone received a 100 per cent approval rating.

With this in mind, fans are certainly expecting big things from the new season as it takes a dark turn.

Viewers can watch previous episodes of the series for the whole week in the run-up to the highly anticipated premiere.

The official Instagram account for Yellowstone said: “It’s premiere week on @paramountnetwork! Catch up on #YellowstoneTV from the very beginning, starting tonight at 8pm ET.

“And then don’t miss the season 4 two-hour premiere event on Sunday.”

The start time for season four will be 8/7c and fans took to the comments to express their excitement.

Nadinerowland said: “Finally!! I need to know who survived lol”, meanwhile markstevens_official said: “One of the few times I’m happy this year has flown by…. can’t wait for season 4.”

The season three finale saw Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) caught up in an explosion at her office.

Meanwhile Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) was left to fight off a group of gunmen.
