Brexiteer Lord Jeffrey Archer attacked France for threatening to cut the electricity of Jersey in the Brexit fishing spat. While speaking on Good Morning Britain, Lord Archer insisted they were floundering the situation. He added that he would normally take an understanding approach in political rows but insisted if it was France versus Britain he would always support Britain.

This comes after Boris Johnson deployed the Royal Navy to Jersey to prevent any form of blockades from France.
