I was on Hunted – I lost two and a half stone while on the run and barely ate anything
A FORMER contestant on Hunted has revealed that he barely ate anything while on the run – and lost two stone as a result.
Last week saw a fresh batch of ordinary people turn fugitive as the new series of the Channel 4 favourite returned to screens.
The real-life thriller sees ordinary people go on the run from a team of expert hunters made up of ex-military, law enforcement and security forces.
If the fugitives can evade capture for long enough they could win a share of the £100,000 prize money up for grabs.
The name of the game is for the contestants to avoid capture from highly skilled hunters.
Since 2015, a tiny handful of lucky wannabe fugitives have got to experience what it’s like to be unofficially wanted.

They can take anything they can carry with them, including tents, food, and disguises, and they are given access to a bank account with £250 in it.
Previous winner Rob Ellington recently lifted the lid on how exactly he stormed to victory with best friend Ben Arrowsmith in 2020.
In previous years, contestants were allowed to take rucksacks out into the wild with them, but this was not the case in Rob’s series.
They were armed only with a book full of useful contacts each, with most preparations done face to face.
"You were allowed one book with you – that was it," he told Metro.
"We had a book each with some important contact details and that was the preparation."
Rob also admitted that anyone considering the show to "be prepared to lose some weight".
He added: "I lost two and a half stone on the run. I ate two apples in my first three days on the show.
"You can imagine, we went from nice hotel meals paid for by Channel 4 to nothing."

In the opening episode of the new series and, for the first time ever in Hunted history, contestants had to make their initial escape from an island.
To win the show, they must head to an extraction point, that will only become clear to them towards the end of the series.
Hunted is available to stream on All 4.
