ITV’s iconic celebrity challenge returned for another smash hit series in November, and all the famous faces have finally left Gwrych Castle. However, only one celeb can be crowned King or Queen, so which of the remaining contestants went home the winner of I’m A Celebrity 2021? Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about who the public voted their champion.

Only three campers were left in this weekend’s decisive I’m A Celeb finale.

Soap stars Simon Gregson and Danny Miller, along with The Saturdays’ Frankie Bridge, all managed to beat out their competition.

They began by saying their sad goodbyes to footballer David Ginola, who was voted off in one of this year’s biggest upsets.

Simon, Danny and Frankie were joined by the likes of Louise Minchin and Naughty Boy for this year’s exciting series.

Due to ongoing COVID restrictions, I’m A Celeb swapped the Australian bush for the Welsh countryside for the second year running.

The celebrity campers have competed in various challenges over the course of three weeks, starting on November 21.

However, only one of them would be voted this year’s King or Queen of the Castle.

The finale kicked off with Danny’s Fill Your Face challenge.

He was strapped to a chair with a see-through helmet fitted to his head, which was filled with creepy crawlies every two minutes.

Later, Simon was tasked with consuming some I’m A Celeb delicacies, such as pig’s eye, goat tongue, fermented castle gruel, sheep’s penis and cow’s vagina.

At the end of the gruelling task, a relieved Simon exclaimed: “Oh my goodness, I’ve done it!”

Finally, Frankie was sent to the Tomb of Doom to spend ten minutes with a group of snakes.

Thankfully, they all managed to get the better of their spine-tingling challenges and sat down for a three-course meal that evening.

Danny enjoyed a full English breakfast, Frankie tucked into a roast beef dinner whilst Simon was treated to lamb chops with mash and peppercorn sauce.

It was then time for the voters to decide who had won the 2021 series.

Who is the I’m A Celeb winner?

After three tough final tasks, Danny was finally announced as this year’s I’m A Celeb winner.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after the vote, he said: “I can’t believe it man. I can’t believe it. So sick.

“I am speechless for once,” he added before being given his floral crown.

“I barely thought I’d never make it to the final two or three votes, to be honest.”

His former campmates all joined via video chat and runner-ups Frankie and Simon gave him a huge round of applause as he celebrated his win.

I’m A Celebrity is available to stream on ITV Hub.
