I’m A Celebrity is making a comeback with ITV confirming it will be shot in Australia after the past two years were filmed in Wales thanks to the pandemic. As always, a new line-up of famous faces are going to be leaving civilisation behind to tackle terrifying and disgusting challenges in the hope of winning the title of King or Queen of the Jungle. Express.co.uk has the run-down of the celebrities rumoured to be taking part in this year’s season.

Who is in the rumoured I’m A Celebrity 2022 line-up?

Denise Van Outen

Actress, singer, presenter and voice of The Only Way is Essex, Denise Van Outen could be next for the jungle.

She has previously said that she would love to take part in I’m A Celebrity when it returned to the outback.

Speaking to The Sun, Denise said: “I will do it at some point. I think I’m a Celebrity for my 50th birthday would be something nice to do.

“I am a lot more jungle vibes than castle vibes, to be honest.”

Boy George

There have been reports that Karma Chameleon singer Boy George is going to be jetting off for the 2022 series.

The Daily Mail reported that the 61-year-old singer will be landing the show’s biggest-ever fee if he does take part.

Seann Walsh

It is believed comedian Seann Walsh has signed up for the ultimate reality show challenge.

He made headlines back in 2018 when he was caught kissing his married Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.

Olivia Attwood

Known for not mincing her words, Love Island star Olivia Attwood would be the first from the popular dating show to join I’m A Celebrity.

She has previously taken part in a Bushtucker Trial on the former spin-off series Extra Camp so did this give her a taste for the jungle life?

Charlene White

ITV News presenter and Loose Women panelist Charlene White is another star rumoured for I’m A Celebrity 2022.

According to The Sun, a source said: “She’s got some strong opinions, but is really personable and will be good value around the Aussie campfire.”

Danny Dyer

Actor Danny Dyer has been behind the lovable Mick Carter in EastEnders for the past nine years but he may be up for a new challenge.

It has already been confirmed that his exit scenes are going to air later this year so with him leaving Walford behind, this could mean Dyer’s schedule has been freed up.

Mike Tindall

Former England rugby union player Mike Tindall is rumoured for this year’s I’m A Celebrity.

He is married to Zara Tindall, the niece of King Charles III, so Mike would be the first royal to take part in the show.

Sue Cleaver

Coronation Street fans will best recognise Sue Cleaver from Coronation Street as Eileen Grimshaw.

With her co-star Simon Gregson as last year’s runner-up, this could have been the push she needed to sign up herself.

As of yet, there has been no official return date for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

Typically, the show starts in mid-November, first airing on a Sunday night.

Series run for three weeks at a time with the final episode coming out in the first week of December so this is likely to be the case for this year’s show as well.

I’m A Celebrity 2022 will premiere sometime in November on ITV.
