Khloe Kardashian posts quote about a 'shattered heart' after she was banned from the Met Gala for being 'too C-list'

KHLOE Kardashian posted a quote about a 'shattered heart' following her ban from the Met Gala for not being famous enough.

The 37-year-old took the news pretty hard as her mother and sisters strutted the red carpet for the prestigious event without her.

Khloe shared another sad quote on her Instagram Stories following the snub expressing her feelings.

The post read: "what is stronger than the human heart which shatters over and over and still lives"

The message was one of a series of posts the reality star has shared in recent weeks.

On Monday, the model hinted that she's going through a difficult time by posting a cryptic quote about struggling with the "darkest days."

The quote read: "In the darkest days it becomes even more imperative that you find whatever light you may possess and shine it as brightly as you can.

"Not just so you can see, but so those around you can find their way as well."

And last week, Khloe took to the platform to seemingly take a swipe at the gala by sharing a quote about being given "opportunities."

The post read: "This year has taught me not to postpone enjoyment. If you're given an opportunity to enjoy something… take it."

'TOO C-LIST'

The mother-of-one was reportedly kept from the Met Gala for being "too C-list."

She is said to have first been banned from the Met Gala in 2019, according to a Radar Online report.

Vogue's Editor in Chief Anna Wintour, who has overseen the Met Gala guest list since 1995, was said to regard Khloe as "too C-list" for the event.

Sources claimed that Kourtney also skipped the event because she didn't want Khloe to feel "left out."

An insider alleged: "Khloe and Kourtney have never been invited to the Met Gala, but Kourtney was invited to this one and chose to stay home with Khloe because she didn't want to leave her alone."

To show support for her mother and sisters who were in attendance, Khloe watched the glitzy ceremony at home but declared that she was "not OK."

'BEING AT PEACE'

It appears that Khloe may be moving on from the scandal based on a recent post where she confesses that she "likes being alone."

The E! star shared on the platform a cryptic quote which read: "I used to think I was extremely introverted because I really liked being alone.

"But it turns out I just like being at peace with myself and my surroundings and I am extremely extroverted when I'm around people who bring me comfort and happiness."

She shared the quote without any caption on Saturday night after attending sister Kourtney's Poosh party.

FANS' CRITICISM

Ever since the ban from fashion's biggest night, fans have been criticizing the KUWTK's alum for her recent projects, calling her out for "becoming a C-list celebrity."

Earlier this week, the TV star posted a video alongside singing sensation Doja Cat, which was one of a series of sponsored ads for the hit mobile app, Candy Crush.

Khloe paired up with the superstar to promote the game's new All-Star tournament.

The duo showed off their candy colored nails as their voices were dubbed over with catchphrases from the game, including "tasty" and "delicious."

Many fans thought that Khloe's continuous sponsored posts were "cringe," with others claiming the reality star has fallen from fame compared to her siblings.

One incensed fan wrote: "You becoming a C List celebrity with all these ads".

Another wrote: "Don't drag Doja into your irrelevance, she's still an A-lister girlie."

A third fan referred to Khloe's sisters: "Wouldn't catch Kim or Kylie doin this type of s**t."
