Linda Lusardi reveals sick trolls told her to 'get her t**s out one last time' amid coronavirus battle
LINDA Lusardi has revealed cruel trolls told her to "get your t**ts out one last time" while she was fighting for her life.
The former Page 3 model caught the deadly bug in March and was at "death's door."
She was rushed to hospital with husband Sam Kane, who had also caught the virus, and spent nearly two weeks in intensive care.
"I ended up in hospital for nine days, it was touch and go for a while. Everyone out there was so supportive – family, friends and people on Twitter," Linda shared on Monday on ITV's The Real Full Monty On Ice.
"But there were the odd trolls, they put: 'Come on Linda, get your t**s out one last time before you croak.'"
But Linda, 62, added: "It did make me laugh. Well, I am going to now. Here you are!"
Sam was sent home after three days and not allowed back in to see his wife for some time.
"I went into meltdown thinking I would never see my wife again," he told Lorraine Kelly at the end of March after they had recovered.
Sam was finally allowed to visit his wife but what he saw shook him to the core.
"When I walked through the door I thought she was gone, she looked like she was dead," he revealed.
Linda added: "The doctor said to me you're 61 and we don't know what we're dealing with here and you might not make it.
Their son Jack, 20 had to see both of his parents being taken away in the ambulance "not knowing if we would ever come back".
Sam added: "It was so much stress and the kids didn't want to let us know how scared they were which was terrifying."
The Full Monty On Ice charity special aims to help raise awareness of cancer and will see 10 celebrities bare all while ice skating.
"It's been 32 years since I got my boobs out and it's just a terrifying thought," shared Linda.
"But if it helps just one woman out there, then it's been worth it."
