Love Island fans go wild as Zara is on the warpath following Tom kiss discovery
Monday night’s episode of Love Island saw tensions boil over as Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown looked to be on the warpath following a discovery about Tom Clare.
Despite a few raised voices in previous episodes and what looked to be a heated argument between Haris Namani and Shaq Muhammad, this season has been slightly more low-key when compared to previous editions.
But during Monday night’s episode, the calm seemed to boil over in a moment that began when bombshell Tom Clare kissed new girl Ellie Spence on the terrace last week.
While Tom predictably stayed very hush about the snog, no doubt knowing that it would ruffle the feathers of Zara and Olivia Hawkins, who he’d been “grafting”, Ellie confided in TikTok farmer Will Young about the kiss.
Will said it was best she kept tight-lipped, though he immediately revealed the juicy gossip to his own partner, Jessie Wynter, as well as Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga.
All of the Islanders were visibly shocked, and speculated about how Olivia would take the news, before deciding Ellie should be the one to tell her.
However, it seems Ellie may not get there first as Tanya couldn't resist approaching Zara and filling her in on the gossip.
“I couldn’t keep it in,” she admitted, looking visibly uncomfortable as Zara immediately said she was going to tell Olivia.
Former Michelle Keegan body double Olivia, who had earlier talked with Tom about their connection, was outside at the time chatting to new lad Spencer Wilks.
“My beds not even f*****g cold,” Zara scathed as she walked up the stairs with Tanya in tow. “I’m still in it. He’s in the dog house tonight.”
“Olivia we need you right now,” Zara demanded as she plowed onto the terrace.
Unfortunately, there was no teaser at the end of the episode, so fans will have to wait until tomorrow to see the drama erupt.
Viewers have flocked to Twitter to share their thoughts, with one penning: “I can’t wait for tomorrow episode for Olivia to find out about Ellie and Tom kiss.”
“And if there’s anybody that should be the one that exposes Tom’s wickedness Zara has earned that right. Call it tough love for Olivia at least she’ll stop begging for him!” another wrote.
A third added: “The thought of Olivia going up to Tom and saying 'Zara told me that Tanya told her that Will told her that Ellie told him that you two kissed last night' is hilarious cus that information was passed tf around before it reached her.”
Love Island continues weeknights and Sundays at 9pm.
