Love Island shock as cast's parents enter the villa TODAY to confront couples over 'lies' and Faye's rants

LOVE Island is set to be rocked with a huge twist today as the contestants' parents enter the villa.

In a special episode before the explosive season finale, the couples will get to meet their partners' family.

One parent has admitted they have made their way to Majorca, following their daughter's shock exit.

Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish have broken up and exited the show, with their big exit revealed tonight.

A source told The Sun: "It’s always the most tense day of the series and Millie and Teddy’s parents will have seen a lot on TV that their kids don’t know about.

"In fact, all of the friends and family will have outsider gossip to tell the cast, so a lot of them should be very nervous – Jake included."

They added: "The plan is to fly out the families to Spain if they’re double jabbed and happy to travel within the rules. Then there will be a socially-distanced meeting – and there will be fireworks."

The parents' special episode usually airs on the final week of Love Island.

This season of the show has racked up over 25000 Ofcom complaints.

Before Liberty ended the seven-week long romance, she was seen crying, telling Jake that she doesn't think they're right for each other.

The 21-year-old's mother has now jetted off to Majorca after teasing her arrival on social media.

Liberty's mum Jo wrote: "Seeing Lib so upset last night has broken my heart. I'm feeling her pain.

Despite Liberty's departure from the show, her mother will still be making an appearance in the villa.
