Love Islands Dale and Mary secretly lock lips after he couples up with Abi
Love Island is set for some serious drama after Dale Mehmet and Mary Bedford lock lips behind Abi Rawlings’ back.
Tension has been ricocheting around the ITV2 villa since Abi whipped Dale out from under Mary’s nose in the latest recoupling.
Mary was forced to couple up with Sam Jackson – the only single man left.
However, being in other couples doesn't stop Mary and Dale sharing a sneaky snog.
The scenes are set to air in Wednesday night’s instalment of the show, and are likely to send yet more shockwaves around the villa.
Earlier in the episode, Abi starts to realise that her decision to be with Dale has ruffled some feathers.
Mary had been keen to get together with Dale and when Abi picked him she admitted she might even cry.
Coupling up with Sam, she fumed: “Obviously, this is not at all what I was expecting or hoping for because I do have a connection with another boy in the villa. I think that they do feel the same way. It has just turned out to be a bad situation for me to be in.
"However, the boy I'm going to couple up with is still a great guy, he's really funny, we get along like a house on fire. My fellow Northerner, so the boy I would like to couple up with is… Sam."
In a heart to heart, Abi tells Dale she feels like she has “torn a couple apart”.
“I feel awful,” she says. “I feel like I’ve torn a couple apart.
“I didn’t realise that you two were that close.”
Dale says he wants to be “straight up” with Abi and tells her that he had been connecting with Mary.
“Me and her vibe good and I feel like we’re getting on really well. I do really like her,” he says.
“F*** sake,” Abi replies. “Why has no-one spoke to me?”
Later, Dale heads to the terrace with Mary so the pair can reflect on the recoupling.
One thing leads to another and they lean in for a smooch.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
