Love Island's Shannon Singh has spoken out for the first time since she left the villa and has admitted that she would return to the show.

The Scottish stunner, 22, has admitted her time on the show was "very short lived" and would go back into the villa if she was offered the chance to, after her shocking exit on Wednesday 30 June.

Loyal fans have shared their outrage from the show when Shannon was dumped from the Island in the opening scenes after Chloe Burrows stole her man Aaron Francis, who is related to Made in Chelsea's Hugo Taylor.

The hit ITV2 dating show threw a spanner in the works after Shannon was kicked out of the Spanish villa less than 48 hours into the series and fans have already started theorising her return to the show.

Speaking after she left the iconic villa, Shannon admitted that she completely forgot about being dumped from the show and didn't feel threatened by Chloe entering the villa.

She said: "I knew they were going to throw something in there, they always do. I knew it was going to be like [Chloe] was going to take one of the guys.

"I just can't believe I forgot there were dumpings. I think all of us forgot there were dumpings. None of us really spoke about it."

The Scottish belle revealed that although her time on the show was short, she was grateful for the opportunity and can't wait to talk to her family again.

She confessed: "I am a bit gutted. [It was] very short lived! Surreal, but I'm obviously grateful I got the opportunity. I'm not coming away fuming from it, I'm coming away grateful."

And, when asked if she would go back into the villa, she said: "Yeah – why not?"

Many fans have been less than impressed by the shock decision and moments after the brutal dumping the hashtag #JusticeForShannon was widely used among fans as they expressed their upset for the Scottish babe.

Throughout the show, fans shared their thoughts on her dramatic exit and called out for producers to bring her back in the show.

One user wrote: “I will bet my life that Shannon is gonna do a Malin and return to the villa #LoveIsland #JusticeForShannon.”

Another viewer added: “@LoveIsland, I HAVE FOUND A WAY TO FIX YOUR MISTAKE! Bring SHANNON back in CASA AMOR” with two crying emojis.

A third chimed: “When shannon comes back in casa amor, is the true bombshell and is the end of chloe’s time on the show.”

Another added: “Me waiting for shannon to show up at casa amor so the show can actually be worth watching again.”

Echoing the sentiment of others, one viewer wrote: “Shannon packing her stuff for Casa Amor because the producers changed their mind after the back lash.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
