Love Island’sLiberty Poole is currently in the process of stealing the nation’s hearts with her genuine desire to find love in the villa.
She’s currently coupled up with hunky builder Jake Cornish.
However, it became clear on Sunday’s show that he’s not as keen on her as she is on him, with Jake admitting his “head could definitely be turned.”
The shocking remarks have stirred up Love Island fans on Twitter, and in an exclusive interview with OK! , Shannon Singh revealed that she wasn’t too happy about Jake’s remarks either.
She said: “Jake was like my little kid brother in the villa and I wish I was still in there to have a chat with him and tell him not to hurt her!”
Despite only being in the villa together for 48 hours, Shannon and Liberty formed a close bond. “Libby is my girl! I can’t wait to see her when she comes out,” Shannon said.
“She really is in there to find something with someone, but I think she’s putting all her eggs in one basket with Jake.”
However, it became clear in Sunday’s show that Jake’s in no such hurry to settle into anything too serious. Speaking to Hugo, he said: "To be honest Libs is not giving me any reason not to trust her…
"It is progressing in the right way, I don't know if that's because my eyes aren't elsewhere.
"I'd be lying if I didn't say if another blonde came in and she had blonde hair, blue eyes, up for a laugh, why would I not get to know her because I'm with Lib?”
He added: "It's building, building, building, it's getting there, but it's not there."
Fans of the show were fuming when the scenes aired. One wrote on Twitter: "Jake is playing a game, SOMEONE TELL LIBERTY ALREADY"
Another commented: “Hugo needs to tell Liberty that Jake is having doubts, so then she pick Hugo at the decoupling, then we keep Hugo and DUMP JAKE.”
However, in true Love Island style – Liberty will have to find out what’s going on for herself. Shannon predicts it’ll be the highly anticipated trip to Casa Amor which will uncover it all.
“I think Casa Amor will be the true test for Jake,” she told us.
Fans of the show agree, with one saying: "We all know Jake is going to ditch Liberty in Casa Amor or he will only stay with her for the money. He has game player written all over his face."
Watch Love Island, tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVHub.
