Love Island’s Sophie accused of lying, ‘disrespecting’ Connor and ‘playing game’

Sophie Piper has been accused of 'playing a game' after 'disrespecting' Connor Durman.

Rochelle Humes' sister excitedly jumped up and threw her arms in the air after discovering that two new boys would be entering the villa.

Buzzing Sophie told the rest of the girls they needed to wake up early to look their best for the new hunks ahead of their arrival.

This infuriate Connor, who initially insisted he was not stressing but then immediately slammed Sophie for 'rubbing it in his face'.

The coffee bean salesman 'lost his head' in spectacular fashion and told some of the other lads that he had 'seen her true colours'.

Connor said: "If she does start getting all over them, then that's it. I do like her and want things to work but the way she is acting is driving me mental."

As he got increasingly frustrated, he added: "That's disrespectful mate. I'm going to pull her over. Don't be rubbing that in my face. I wouldn't be doing that to her. I feel a bit mugged off really."

Eventually he lost patience and pulled Sophie over to have a chat about her reaction to the news of two bombshells coming in.

Sophie insisted that she was just winding Connor up by putting her arms in the air.

When Connor admitted it had wound him up, she replied: "To be honest with you, if i wanted to go on a date with someone else I would tell you."

Sophie claimed it was just a joke, but angry Connor said: "I don't want that rubbed in my face in the first place."

The pair then both stormed off after their awkward row ahead of the new arrivals.

Some viewers took to Twitter to back to criticise Sophie for her antics.

One viewer said: "People saying Connor is toxic for acting badly to Sophie openly celebrating two new fellas coming in. It's just about a level of respect and she 100% wasnt joking lol"

"Connor is creepy. But Sophie was clearly playing him. She knew she didnt fancy him since the beginning but went along," added another.

A third said: "Sophie has well and truly f***** it!! Connor was right to say how would you like it if it was him that said it. Can’t believe she did that and totally tried to lie her way out of it!! #ByeFelicia"

However, others urged Sophie to get out of there as quickly as possible.

"Connor going on last night that he didn’t really fancy Sophie, now he’s having a shitfit. Run girl," tweeted one fan.

Another added: "Sophie needs to… umm…run… before she ends up in a glass box in connor’s basement… sis isn’t even allowed to laugh on day 3

"Sophie saying she’s joking to make Connor happy esh. She needs to leave him ASAP," agreed a third.
