Married At First Sight is back with a brand new season ready to air on Channel 4. Earlier this year, fans were treated to previous seasons of the Australian version of Married At First Sight which became a hit with viewers. But the UK edition will soon be on our screens again, jam-packed with even more romance and drama.

Married At First Sight was first brought to life back in 2014 and now has several series around the world.

The reality show sets up couples to get married but the twist is that they have never met before.

The first time they do get to see their future husband or wife is when they are actually at the ceremony itself.

After they tie the knot, the cameras continue to roll to see how they get on.

For the first six weeks of their married life, the newlyweds’ lives are documented by the series

Of course, there are many teething issues, arguments and tears as they try to make their marriages work.

At the end of the show, the couples will then decide if they want to stay together or get a divorce.

Luckily, the wait is almost over for series five of the UK version.
